ARUNIMA SINHA: INSPIRATION OF TODAY'S YOUTH

"HIMAT-A-MARDAN TOH MADAD-E-KHUDA" we all have come across this line somewhere. But have we came across any story which suits this line? Let's take a look at the story of Arunima Sinha, First Handicapped in the world to climb Mount Everest.
An Uttar Pradesh based girl who was born in the year 1988 became the first amputee to climb Mount Everest. She was a National-Level Volleyball and Football Player. She wanted to make her career in sports until she met with an incident.

On 12th April, 2011, a 23-year-old girl was thrown out of a train while going to Delhi for exams. She was thrown out by some robbers when she denied giving her gold chain and some money. Co-incidentally when she was thrown out of the train, the same minute another train crushed her leg. Not only this, she screamed but no one came to rescue her and whole night she was on the railway track and some rats started chewing her legs.

"I resisted and they pushed me from the train. I could not move. I remember seeing a train coming towards me. I tried getting up. By then, the train had run over my leg. I don't remember anything after that."

Next day she was rushed to a hospital in UP by some villagers. But, the hospital was not so advanced and therefore Blood and Anesthesia was not available in the hospital. On 18th April, 2011 she was rushed to a hospital in Delhi for her treatment. She was provided a prosthetic leg and she was under 4-month treatment.

WHAT NEXT? WHAT ABOUT HER CAREER? WILL SHE GIVE UP OR WILL SHE FACE THE CHALLENGES? Let's check it out!

She was inspired by Yuvraj Singh and how he fought with cancer. Arunima decided to show her identity and abilities to the world and decided to climb Mount Everest with her prosthetic leg. On 1st April, 2013, Arunima started climbing Mount Everest and after facing many obstacles finally after 52 days she reached to top of Mount Everest and became first India amputee to climb Mount Everest and became everyone's inspiration.
